What a local package covers, and how extra usage is billed
A local or hourly rental gives you a car and driver within the city for a fixed package of hours and kilometres, instead of booking a separate one way trip for every stop. The tariff table on this page shows our standard 8 hour, 80 km package for each car type, which comfortably covers a half day of shopping, meetings, a wedding function, or a mix of local errands with the car waiting between stops.
If you need fewer or more hours, shorter 4 hour packages and longer 12 or 24 hour packages are available on request, tell us the plan when you book and we quote it before you confirm. Running past your package hours or kilometres is not a problem, extra usage is billed at a proportional rate that we confirm with you on the call, never added silently at the end.
This is different from a one way or round trip booking, where the car takes you from one city to another and the meter is the distance travelled. A local package keeps the same car and driver with you around town for the hours you have booked.

What is included in the standard local package?
The 8 hour, 80 km package shown in the tariff table on this page, which includes the base fare, fuel, driver charges and the AC vehicle, same as every other trip type. Toll, parking and any state tax on the route are billed separately at actual cost.
What happens if we go over 8 hours or 80 km?
Nothing to worry about. Extra hours and extra kilometres are billed at a proportional rate, confirmed with you before the package starts and again if the trip is clearly going to run over, so there is never a surprise total at drop off.
Can I book a 4 hour or a full 24 hour package instead of 8 hours?
Yes. Shorter 4 hour packages and longer 12 and 24 hour packages are available, tell us the duration you need when you book and we send a quote for that package specifically.
Does the car wait for us between stops?
Yes, that is the point of a local package. The same car and driver stay with you for the full duration, waiting while you shop, attend a function or finish a meeting, rather than you booking a fresh cab for every leg.
Is a local package good for airport pickup with waiting time?
For a straightforward pickup or drop, our dedicated airport transfer service is usually the better and cheaper fit. A local package makes more sense when you need the car for several hours of city running around the airport visit.
Can we use a local package for outstation sightseeing, like a day trip from Chandigarh to Kasauli and back?
Short day trips outside the city are usually better booked as a round trip, since they are billed by distance rather than an hours and kilometres package. Ask us and we will suggest whichever works out cheaper for your exact plan.
Which car should I pick for a wedding day local package?

Is the driver the same person for the whole package?
Yes, one driver and one car for your entire booked duration. You get the driver name and phone number the evening before, same as any other booking.
