How this package works
The Spiti circuit runs through the Kinnaur and Spiti valleys into high altitude desert terrain, past monasteries, moonscape villages and Chandratal Lake, before coming back out via Manali. The roads here are rougher and higher than our other hill packages, which is why we recommend an SUV or Innova Crysta rather than a sedan or hatchback. Billed as a per day dedicated car hire, the quote depends on car choice and duration, confirmed before you book.
Kunzum Pass, the route's highest point, is only open from around mid June to September, closed by snow the rest of the year, so this circuit runs on a tighter seasonal window than our other packages. The itinerary below is a sample, tell us your dates and we confirm the pass is open before you book.

What people say after they get out of the car
Every review below is from a real trip. We do not edit them and we do not take the bad ones down.
Replace this with a real review from your Google Business Profile. Keep it to two or three sentences and mention the actual route travelled.
Reviews that mention a specific route and a specific detail convert far better than generic praise like good service.
Ask happy customers for a Google review right after the drop, while the trip is still fresh. That is when response rates are highest.
A corporate client review carries extra weight because it signals repeat business and proper invoicing.
Reviews that mention pricing being exactly as quoted reinforce the transparency promise made higher up this page.
Keep one four star review in the mix. A wall of nothing but five stars reads as fake to most people.

Why is an SUV recommended over a sedan for this trip?
The roads through Spiti and over Kunzum Pass are rougher and higher altitude than our other hill packages, an SUV or Innova Crysta handles this far more comfortably and reliably than a hatchback or sedan.
Why is the season so limited for this circuit?
Kunzum Pass, the route's highest point connecting Spiti to Manali, is closed by snow for most of the year and only reliably open from around mid June to September.
Is 8 days enough to cover Kinnaur and Spiti properly?
It covers the core circuit, Kalpa, Tabo, Kaza and Chandratal, comfortably. Add a day or two if you also want unhurried time in Sangla and Chitkul.
What is the altitude like on this trip, is altitude sickness a concern?
Kaza and Chandratal both sit at high altitude, above 3,500 metres in places. Go slow on the first couple of days, stay hydrated, and tell your driver if anyone in the group feels unwell.
Can this trip be done in the reverse direction, Manali first?
Yes, starting from Manali and exiting via Kinnaur is also possible when the pass is open, tell us your preference when you book.
